Parker Kindred is an American drummer and musician. He was born on November 17, 1976, in Hampton, Virginia. Kindred is best known for his work as the drummer for the New York City-based indie rock band Antony and the Johnsons. He has also worked with a number of other notable artists, including Jeff Buckley, Bright Eyes, and Joan As Police Woman. In addition to his work as a drummer, Kindred is also a singer and songwriter. He released his first solo album, "Circus Head," in 2015. Kindred has been praised for his distinctive playing style, which combines elements of rock, jazz, and soul.
